• 1962 Maize road Baptist Chapel Founded

• July 28, 1963 Constituted as Maize Road Baptist Church 37 Charter Members

• 1963 Bought land to build

• September 1962 Dr. John Schoolar Called as first Pastor

• February 6, 1966 First Building dedicated

• August 18, 1968 Rev. George Cleirhew called as Pastor

• September 28, 1969 Rev. Ed Havner called as Pastor

• January 19, 1972 Como Baptist merges with Maize Road Baptist Church

• February 1981 Rev. Ken Dotson called as Pastor

• September 1982 Rev. John Kirby called as Pastor

• July 28, 1988 celebrated 25th anniversary and dedicated new educational building

• March 9, 1997 Dedicated the renovated sanctuary

• January 1999 called Rev. Drew Preston as Pastor of Education and Youth

• March 2002 called Rev. Brett Castle as Family Life Pastor

• April 2003 set all time high attendance record for Sunday School with 223

• July 27, 2003 celebrate Forty Years of Ministry
