Shawn Hensley is 28 years old and married to Megan Hensley.Shawn has been a member of Maize Road since he was a small child.Shawn was called as Youth Pastor in June of 2004.
Shawn attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University from 2002 to 2005 and majored in Theological studies with a minor in Philosophy.Shawn will be going back to MVNU shortly to complete this Bachelors degree.Shawn is passionate about the youth and has a vision for transformation of our community, and ultimately the world through the youth at MRBC.

Get ready because this month we have an event that’s worth every penny it will cost you. How do I know your going to get your money’s worth? That’s easy, because it’s FREE! Saturday, February 20th at 6:00 p.m. we will be having a Youth Movie Night and it doesn’t cost a thing. Bring a friend and come enjoy a FREE MOVIE and FOOD! I will be bringing several movies, and we will take a vote to see which one we will watch. This is a night you won’t want to miss.
It was great to see several youth and their parents at the Family Game Night last month. The good news is, there is another Family Game Night this month, on Friday, February 19th at 6:30 p.m. As always you are welcome to invite a friend, and bring your favorite game and a snack to share. See you there! I want to encourage you to be here on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. We have been kicking back and studying the Gospel of Luke in our Youth Loft. Wetypically take some time, either before or after our study, to play some Air Hockey, Foosball, or some other games. This is a way to get connected, and stay grounded in God’s Word. If you have been coming I encourage you to keep coming; if you have not been coming, then I encourage you to make a commitment to be here for this time of study and fellowship.Hope to see you this week.
