Youth Corner
It is a great time to be a part of the MRBC family.Every week I continue to see more new faces and better than that, I am also seeing folks that I haven’t seen for quite some time.I am very thankful that God is bringing new people into our church family and equally thankful that He is leading others back to be with us.On behalf of the entire church family, I want to say “We’re glad you’re here.”
June will bring some opportunities for our youth to do some work around our community. Then, in July the youth will be leading the way by going out and inviting our neighbors to join us for VBS.Summer is a great time to get out there and connect with people, and I encourage you all to invite at least one person to join us each week.
August will bring a time of relaxation for the youth.I am planning a trip which will have many characteristics of a retreat. My goal is to allow for plenty of time for the youth to enjoy activities with their friends, but also plenty of time for them to enjoy some time with God.This will be an exciting time, and I hope that it will prove to be a time of growth for all of those who join us.More details on this retreat will be available in the very near future.
Thank you to everyone for making our visitors from World Changers feel welcome.I also want to say a special thank you to those who helped with the preparation of the food for the visiting youth.See you all soon. In Christ, Bro. Shawn
